ASICLAND Achieves Industry-First ‘PMS’ Data Quality Certification
▶ Enhanced Accuracy and Efficiency Through a Structured Process Solution
▶ Strengthened Real-Time Sharing and Verification to Prevent Issues and Improve Design Precision
[December 19, 2024] ASICLAND has become the first company in the semiconductor industry to receive a data quality certification, solidifying its technological credibility.
ASICLAND (445090), a leading ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) design solution provider, announced on the 19th that it has obtained a Data Quality (DQ) certification from WISESTONE, an accredited data quality certification body designated by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
ASICLAND is the first company in the semiconductor industry to receive Level 2 certification for its ‘asicland-PMS (Project Management System)’ in the data management framework category. This achievement reflects the company’s efforts to systematize the semiconductor design service process and maximize management efficiency.
ASICLAND’s PMS is a solution that structures processes at each stage of the design service. By utilizing a standardized Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) template, the system enhances project accuracy while incorporating management indicators to streamline operations. Additionally, real-time sharing capabilities improve work efficiency, while reinforced verification procedures help prevent design-related issues before they arise.
LEE Jong-min, CEO of ASICLAND, stated, "It is truly meaningful to have our data management capabilities recognized for the first time in the semiconductor industry, as this establishes our technological reliability. Based on a structured management system, we will continue to develop semiconductors with greater accuracy and efficiency, leading the industry forward."
The Data Quality Certification (DQ Certification) is a national certification system designated by the Ministry of Science and ICT to evaluate the reliability and quality of data. The certification is divided into two categories: Data Content Certification and Data Management Framework Certification. In particular, the Data Management Framework Certification assesses the maturity of data management practices within businesses, systems, or organizational units that generate, process, analyze, and utilize data.
