ASICLAND Welcomes Vietnamese Semiconductor Delegation, Sharing Technology and Talent Development Models

[February 24, 2025] ASICLAND is strengthening industrial cooperation with Vietnam to contribute to the growth of the global semiconductor industry.
ASICLAND (445090), a leading ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) design solutions company, announced on the 24th that it welcomed a delegation of Vietnamese semiconductor industry representatives to share its latest semiconductor design technologies, industry insights, and talent development models.
This visit was part of Vietnam’s national strategy to boost its semiconductor industry and nurture skilled professionals. The delegation included officials from the National Innovation Center (NIC) under Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), key semiconductor companies, startups, and academic institutions—bringing together over 20 experts.
The Vietnamese semiconductor delegation consisted of officials from NIC, academic representatives from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam-Germany University (VGU), and Dai Nam University, as well as executives from semiconductor and IT companies such as CT Semiconductor, Infrasen, and Aitomatic. Vietnam is currently expanding its capabilities in semiconductor design and R&D, actively implementing talent development programs to support this initiative.
During their visit, the Vietnamese representatives engaged in an exchange of knowledge on ASICLAND’s cutting-edge semiconductor design and R&D capabilities. They also had the opportunity to experience South Korea’s semiconductor talent development model firsthand. The delegation highly praised ASICLAND’s expertise and discussed strategies for further technological advancements and workforce development.
ASICLAND CEO Lee Jong-min stated, “With Vietnam’s semiconductor industry growing rapidly, our expertise in semiconductor design and R&D can serve as a strong foundation for collaboration. We will continue to explore concrete cooperation opportunities in both research and talent development.”
Kim Hoon-sik, Chairman of the Korea Business & Technology Value Evaluation Association, which organized the visit, emphasized, “This visit provides an excellent opportunity to create synergy between Korea’s advanced semiconductor design technologies and Vietnam’s growth strategies. We will continue our efforts to foster technological exchange and workforce development between the two countries.”
This visit is expected to further strengthen semiconductor industry cooperation between South Korea and Vietnam. ASICLAND remains committed to expanding its research, development, and business ecosystem to contribute to the advancement of the global semiconductor industry.
