[August 18, 2026] ASICLAND (KOSDAQ: 445090, CEO Jong-min Lee), a leading provider of ASIC design solutions, reported strong growth and a return to profitability in the first half of 2026.
The company recorded consolidated revenue of KRW 113.7 billion, operating profit of KRW 5.0 billion, and net income of KRW 6.3 billion. Revenue increased approximately 273% year-on-year from KRW 30.5 billion, while both operating and net income returned to positive territory.
Notably, first-half revenue exceeded ASICLAND’s full-year 2025 revenue of KRW 72.8 billion by approximately 56%, surpassing the previous year’s annual revenue in just six months. Investments in advanced process technologies and AI semiconductor capabilities are now translating into development projects, mass production, and overseas revenue.
■ New Projects and Overseas Revenue Drive H1 Growth
First-half growth was supported by a combination of new large-scale development projects, expanding mass production, and overseas business.
Revenue from new projects, including those with SK hynix, was recognized according to project progress, while Taiwan-based overseas projects and mass-production business also contributed to the strong performance.
With existing business recovering and new projects moving forward, ASICLAND is establishing a broader revenue base across development, production, and global markets.
■ FADU and SK hynix eSSD Projects Strengthen Memory and Storage Business
As AI data centers and cloud infrastructure expand, demand for high-performance eSSDs continues to increase. Against this backdrop, ASICLAND is strengthening memory and storage as a key growth pillar.
Following a next-generation eSSD controller development agreement with FADU in 2024, ASICLAND was selected in June 2026 as a development partner for SK hynix’s next-generation eSSD controller, expanding its customer base from a data center SSD specialist to a global memory semiconductor leader.
ASICLAND is also executing a KRW 25.4 billion storage controller mass-production contract secured in January. The company supports the full production cycle based on TSMC processes, including design optimization, process support, and yield management.
By combining development projects with mass production, ASICLAND aims to strengthen its position in AI data center and enterprise storage markets and expand further into next-generation memory solutions.
■ U.S. AI Customer Wins Expand Global Business
ASICLAND is also broadening its global customer base by leveraging its ASIC design capabilities and turnkey service expertise.
In February, the company signed a semiconductor design and supply agreement with global neuromorphic AI semiconductor company BrainChip for the development of its second-generation AI processor, AKD2500. ASICLAND provides comprehensive services spanning ASIC design, wafers, packaging, and testing.
Meanwhile, its Taiwan R&D Center continues to strengthen capabilities in 3nm and 5nm advanced processes and CoWoS advanced packaging, working in conjunction with ASICLAND’s engineering resources in Korea to enhance support for global customer projects.
Going forward, ASICLAND plans to expand mass-production opportunities following successful development projects while continuing to secure global customers. By strengthening the cycle from development to follow-on mass production, the company aims to build a more stable and recurring revenue base.
CEO Jong-min Lee said, “The first half of this year delivered record-high half-year revenue and a return to profitability as growth in development projects and mass-production revenue translated into stronger financial performance. We will continue to connect our accumulated ASIC design capabilities with customers’ product development and mass production, while expanding high-value projects and follow-on production opportunities in AI and memory markets.”
ASICLAND is Korea’s only TSMC VCA (Value Chain Alliance) partner, providing comprehensive design solutions across the semiconductor development lifecycle, from ASIC design and verification to tape-out, process support, and mass production.
